Video is Effective

While we may be biased, I am almost certain of this, clients would rather watch a quick informative video than read through business literature. From an avid reader and consumer standpoint I love to read amazon reviews, novels, and non-fiction, but if I am looking for a product or service I rarely read their site. I race through looking for what I want- usually the price! If I am in serious buyer mode I will watch a video and read reviews. Since we can't do much about reviews, aside from providing great customer service, our focus should be on what we can control - VIDEO. Here are some other facts I found quite convincing:
Email:
Video in email boosts click-thru rates 2-3 times.
Saves Time:
Studies have shown people do not read websites, they scan them. Plus, reading is tedious and does not stick, but video lasts only a few minutes & leaves a lasting impression.
Reach:
Networking sites allow for easy uploading, massive audiences, and boosted web presence.
Last thing I will mention, eventually (and I truly believe this) every business will have video, so I ask you, do you want to be an innovator?
